Man, 21, killed in suspected road rage crash in Innisfil
Six vehicles were involved in the collision on Hwy. 400 north of the city

A 21-year-old man was killed Friday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Innisfil that investigators believe was sparked by road rage.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to a six-vehicle collision on Hwy. 400 near Simcoe Rd. 89 around 5:30 p.m.
“Initial reports suggest that two vehicles were road raging, which resulted in a collision between the two vehicles,” an OPP Highway Safty Division officer said in a video posted Saturday on X.
He said the two vehicles were travelling south and the initial collision caused one of those vehicles to cross the centre median dividing the highway and collide head-on with a northbound a pickup truck.
“The vehicle that crossed the median rolled and as a result of the collision, a 21-year-old male was pronounced deceased from his injuries,” the officer said.
The victim is a Mississauga resident but his name was not immediately released.
“The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital,” the officer said. “There were no other injuries.”
The highway was closed overnight but reopened Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, officers from the OPP’s Collingwood Detachment are investigating a deadly crash that happened Friday night in the Town of The Blue Mountains.
OPP say single vehicle collision occurred on Grey Rd. 19 south of the 6th Line around 10:20 p.m.
“The vehicle was located in a ditch with a solo occupant,” OPP said in a news release. “The driver was pronounced deceased at scene”
Both investigations are ongoing.
